September 8, 2007 - White Plains, NY.

The White Plains Historical Society hosted an "Antique Emergency Vehicles Show" on Saturday September 8, 2007, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM in the heart of downtown White Plains on Mamaroneck Avenue between Main Street and Maple Avenue (3 blocks). It was part of a larger festival sponsored by the White Plains Business Improvement District and the City Of White Plains Parks and Recreation Department called "A Taste of White Plains", with many fine restaurants and food vendors participating, including 2 beer tents, a show mobile stage with live bands all day, about 60 custom/antique cars and motorcycles, about 35 antique emergency vehicles, (police cars, fire trucks, chief cars, and ambulances), Westchester County Boy and Girl Scouts representing our region, and inflatable rides for children, plus more.
