Annual Dinner 2006

The 17th Annual Dinner Event, held on May 4th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, attracted our area’s honorable city, county, state and national political leaders and dignitaries. In attendance were Westchester County Legislator Bill Ryan, NYS Assembly Members Amy Paulin and Adam Bradley, and White Plains Common Council members Tom Roach and Rita Malmud. The Citizen Extraordinaire Award was conferred to Robert Stackpole.

The guest speaker was Richard Brookhiser, historian, journalist and author of several books including What Would the Founders Do? Our Questions, Their Answers published in May 2006 by Basic Books. He is a Senior Editor at National Review and a political columnist for The New York Observer. He has also contributed to American Heritage, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker, The New York Times Book Review, Time, Vanity Fair, and many others.
